The Red Deer Steps for Life Charity walk is part of the main fundraiser for the registered charity, Threads of Life, which helps families of workplace tragedy. This family friendly 5 km walk has live entertainment, face painting and a colouring contest for children, a bake sale and BBQ for attendees. A Thread of Life family member affected by a workplace tragedy will speak about their experience followed by a walk around the beautiful Bower Ponds park. Entertainment and activities starts at 10 am. This is an outdoor event so please dress appropriately. You can register for this event and/or make a donation at www.stepsforlife.ca
